Video ads for baby and kids product brands

Parents buy baby and kids products on safety, ease and whether the thing survives real life. We'd start with a problem-solution ad: 3 seconds on the leaking bottle or the one-handed fold, then 7 seconds of product and demo.

Formats that suit baby and kids products

What works for baby and kids products ads

  • The tired-parent moment: one hand free, a nap to protect, a car seat in the rain. Opening on it tells parents the ad is for them.
  • Practical facts early: age range, size, washable or not, how it folds, what it's made of.
  • Gift angles for baby showers and birthdays, aimed at relatives as much as parents.

Example hooks

Illustrative

Opening lines written for made-up products, to show the shape. Yours are written from your own product page.

  • “Folds with one hand, while you hold the baby”
  • “Is it machine washable? Cover and all”
  • “The bib built for spaghetti night”
  • “A baby shower gift that gets used every day”

We only show real ads here, with permission from the brand that ran them, and we're still collecting them. The quickest way to see what this looks like is a free storyboard for your product: paste your link above.

Keep it honest

Only say "safe", "non-toxic" or "certified" if your product page says so and you hold the paperwork. Children in AI-generated scenes are illustrative, never a real customer's child.

Every ad is labelled as AI-generated. How we label ads

Questions

Will the ad show a real baby?
Only if your product page photos include one, since product scenes use your photos. Any child in an AI-generated clip is illustrative, not a real customer's child.
Can the ad say my product is safe?
Use the exact words your product page uses, and be able to back them up; name the standard or test if you have one. A blanket "completely safe" is the kind of absolute claim that draws questions from Meta and from parents.
Which format should I start with?
We'd start with a problem-solution ad. Parents recognize the problem in a second and see the product doing the job. Then test a comment reply ad on the question your customers ask most.
