# UGC motion ads: a presenter hook, then your product moving

A UGC motion ad opens like a UGC-style ad, with a stock AI presenter saying the hook to camera. Then, instead of photo scenes, three short AI-generated clips show your product in motion: hands opening it, using it, carrying it. It runs 16 seconds and is available on paid plans.

## Scene by scene: UGC motion

A presenter says the hook to camera, then the product in motion: three short video scenes. About 16 seconds:

1. Hook (4 s): AI presenter, labelled on screen
2. The product (3 s): AI-generated clip
3. How it works (3 s): AI-generated clip
4. Benefit 1 (3 s): AI-generated clip
5. Call to action (3 s): motion template from your product photos

## When it works

- Your product is something people handle. It opens, pours, folds, clicks or gets carried, and a still photo hides that.
- You've run UGC-style ads with photo scenes and want the same kind of hook with more movement after it.
- The motion is simple. Each clip shows one action, like a lid twisting off or a bag swung onto a shoulder, because generated video looks best that way.
- Pick another format when the point is a change over time, like a stain fading or a plant growing. Before-after and problem-solution ads handle that better.

## Example hooks (illustrative)

Opening lines written for made-up products, to show the shape:

- "Watch how this bottle opens with one hand"
- "Okay, this bag folds into its own pocket"
- "The desk lamp that turns on with one tap"
- "Here's the part of this stroller nobody shows you"

## Keep it honest

The clips are generated from your product photos, so check every scene in the draft: the shape, logo and color should match what you sell. Regenerate any scene that drifts. The presenter's line is written in a casual creator voice. Read it in the draft and cut anything that says they bought or used the product.

## Questions

### How is this different from a UGC-style ad?

Both open with the same presenter hook, about 4 seconds. In a UGC-style ad the scenes after it are motion templates built from your product photos. In UGC motion, the product, demo and benefit scenes are short AI-generated clips of the product being used, 3 seconds each, and the call to action at the end is a template.

### Why is it only on paid plans?

Its three middle scenes are all generated video, which takes longer and costs more to make than motion templates. Free storyboards use the other formats. On a paid plan, UGC motion shows up among your ad ideas like any other format.

### What if a clip doesn't look like my product?

Regenerate that scene, or describe the change in plain words, before you approve the final. Sharp, well-lit photos on your product page give the clips more to work from. Small text and fine patterns are the details most likely to come out wrong, so look at those first.
