# Offer and sale video ads with a clear deadline

An offer ad puts the deal on screen first, then shows what you get and when the deal ends. It's our shortest format: 13 seconds, four scenes, all built from your product photos. In our view it does most for people who already know you and need a reason to buy now, and less as an introduction to strangers.

## Scene by scene: Offer / sale

Lead with the deal, show the product, clear deadline. About 13 seconds:

1. The offer (3 s): motion template from your product photos
2. The product (3.5 s): motion template from your product photos
3. Benefit 1 (3 s): motion template from your product photos
4. Call to action (3.5 s): motion template from your product photos

## When it works

- You have a real deal with a real end date: a holiday sale, a launch price, a bundle, free shipping over a set amount.
- The audience has met the product already, like site visitors, past buyers or people who watched an earlier ad. They need a nudge, not an introduction.
- There's one offer to say. Stacking a discount, a free gift and free shipping into 13 seconds leaves people unsure what the deal is.
- You run it alongside an ad that explains the product, not instead of one.

## Example hooks (illustrative)

Opening lines written for made-up products, to show the shape:

- "Two for one, this weekend only"
- "Free shipping ends Sunday at midnight"
- "Launch price until Friday"
- "Bundle the set, save on all three"

## Keep it honest

The offer and the deadline must be true when the ad runs. Put the real end date in the ad and pause it when the sale ends. A deadline that quietly rolls over is a fake countdown, and shoppers notice.

## Questions

### How long is an offer ad?

13 seconds: the offer (3 seconds), the product (3.5), one benefit (3) and the call to action with the deadline (3.5). Every scene is a motion template from your product photos, with no AI-generated video.

### Where does the deal in the ad come from?

Edit the offer line in the storyboard to the exact deal and end date. The ad says what you write there, so check it against your store before you approve.

### Should I make a new ad for every sale?

Yes, for each new deal or end date. The offer and deadline are lines in the storyboard, so the change is quick, and a stale deadline in a running ad confuses people.
